ENJOY A Note To Heart Broken Emo Kids on Valentine’s Day This is the day that emotional kids of the world fear, it is supposedly the proving ground for your significant other to show how much they care and love you. Sweet ideas full of sincerities, romance, candle lit dinners at home, mix-tapes, collages, photographs, flowers, candy and more possibilities than I care to list. Unfortunately for those of you who are in my current position of just being dumped or have been single for sometime, this is truly the anniversary of the worst day of our lives. It’s really quite annoying to see cute couples walking down the street arm in arm staring at how beautiful the clouds are or how adorable the kids are at the park saying to one another, "I can’t wait to have kids around the house." Choke on your sentiment and fucking die, you are living in a world of make believe with unicorns, rainbows and the hope that love is a many splendid thing. In reality love is overrated and leaves us feeling useless. To all singletons: - create a mix-tape, throw in many anti-love songs as a sign of sure faith in death of love as we know it - grab a bottle of your favorite distilled beverage and join the rest of us in a drunken slumber or drink yourself into a state of bliss and then proceed to call your ex’s house at 1 AM to wish them a happy valentine’s day and thank them for bring a sense of reality to your childish dreams of "love" Happy Fucking Valentine’s Day.
